Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By visiting konnec.club, submitting your email to the waitlist, or otherwise interacting with the site, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or submit information to us.

2. About Konnec, pre-launch

Konnec is being built as a dating product for Southeast Asia. At this stage, the only service we offer through konnec.club is informational content and an email waitlist. There is no matching, messaging, profile creation, photo upload, payment, or other in-app feature available through this site — those will live in the Konnec app once it launches, under separate terms.

Konnec is currently operated as an unincorporated venture, subject to incorporation. References to "we", "us", or "Konnec" mean the team building the product.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to join the Konnec waitlist or otherwise submit information through this site. By signing up you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Joining the waitlist places you on a list of people interested in early access. It does not entitle you to any specific position in the queue, a guaranteed invitation, a free tier, or any other benefit. We may close the waitlist, change how invitations are extended, or change the product before launch.

4. Acceptable use

When using konnec.club, you agree not to:

• Submit information that isn't yours, or impersonate another person.
• Sign up using automated scripts, bots, or other non-human means; or submit the same email repeatedly to skew our waitlist numbers.
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract content, code, or design elements from the site.
• Attempt to interfere with the site's operation, security, or availability — including denial-of-service activity, vulnerability scanning without our permission, or exploitation of any flaw you discover.
• Use the site to send unlawful, harassing, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable content to us.

5. Intellectual property

The Konnec name, logo, written copy, illustrations, code, and overall design of konnec.club are owned by the Konnec team or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, republish, or use them for any commercial purpose without our written permission. Linking to konnec.club for ordinary purposes is fine.

6. Third-party links and services

konnec.club may link to third-party websites or rely on third-party services (for example, Notion for waitlist storage and Netlify for hosting). We don't control those third parties and aren't responsible for their content, terms, or practices.

7. No warranty

konnec.club is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of any content (such as the waitlist count or launch dates), or uninterrupted availability. Pre-launch plans change; we may rebrand, postpone, or discontinue Konnec without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Konnec team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of konnec.club. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the site or the pre-launch waitlist is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100) or the local-currency equivalent.

9. Termination

We may remove your waitlist entry, restrict your access to konnec.club, or otherwise end your use of the site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you've breached these terms or if we need to protect Konnec, our users, or third parties. You can stop using the site and ask us to delete your waitlist entry at any time by emailing hello@konnec.club.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore as a working anchor, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The final governing law and dispute-resolution forum will be confirmed when Konnec incorporates, and this section will be updated at that point.

Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at hello@konnec.club so we can try to resolve the issue in good faith.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Konnec evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. If we make significant changes that affect existing waitlist subscribers, we'll let you know by email where reasonable.

12. Severability and entire agreement

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Konnec regarding konnec.club and the pre-launch waitlist.
