1. Who we are

"Konnec" (also "we", "us", "our") is a pre-launch dating product being built for Southeast Asia. Konnec is currently operated as an unincorporated venture, subject to incorporation before the app's public launch. The legal entity name will be updated on this page once incorporation completes.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies only to the konnec.club website and the email waitlist sign-up offered through it. It does not cover the future Konnec mobile or web app — a separate policy will be published at launch.

3. Information we collect

• Waitlist details. The email address you submit through the waitlist form. If we add optional fields (such as country or city) in the future, they will be described here.
• Site logs. Standard server and CDN logs from our hosting provider (Netlify), including IP address, user-agent, referrer, and request timestamps. We use these for security and basic site analytics.
• Aggregate analytics. Anonymous, aggregated counts such as the number of waitlist sign-ups. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers on this site.

4. How we use it

• To notify you when the Konnec app launches or opens early access.
• To send occasional product updates relevant to the waitlist.
• To measure how the landing page is performing in aggregate.
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and spam against the waitlist itself.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to profile you across other websites.

5. Where it's stored and who processes it

• Notion — waitlist entries (email and submission timestamp) are stored in a private Notion database we control.
• Netlify — hosts the konnec.club site and produces standard edge logs.

These providers act as data processors on our behalf. Both operate infrastructure across multiple regions, including the United States; by joining the waitlist you accept that your email and related metadata may be processed outside your home country.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

konnec.club uses only essential cookies needed to make the site work. We do not place advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies on this landing page. If that changes, we will update this policy and add an in-page notice before activating them.

7. Your rights and choices

You can ask us at any time to:

• Confirm what waitlist information we hold about you.
• Correct your email or other details.
• Delete your waitlist entry and remove you from launch communications.
• Withdraw consent for further marketing emails from us.

Send any of these requests to hello@konnec.club from the email address you signed up with, and we will respond within a reasonable time. We aim to honour data-protection standards aligned with Singapore's PDPA, Thailand's PDPA, and (for EEA / UK visitors) the corresponding rights under GDPR / UK GDPR, even though no specific regulator has jurisdiction over a pre-incorporation venture.

8. Children

Konnec is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted their email to our waitlist, contact us and we will remove the entry.

9. International transfers

Your waitlist information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one in which you live, including the United States and various Southeast Asian jurisdictions where our team or processors operate. We rely on the security and contractual safeguards offered by our processors (Notion, Netlify) for these transfers.

10. Security

We use HTTPS / TLS for all traffic to and from konnec.club. Waitlist data is stored in a private Notion workspace with access limited to founders and trusted operators. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us.

11. Retention

We keep your waitlist email until the Konnec app launches and for a reasonable period after, so we can invite you and follow up on early access. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves or as we incorporate. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top, and — where reasonable — we will notify waitlist subscribers by email before they take effect.
